Back on the road

Hello blog world! In my attempt to update more regularly I've decided to try and do weekly round ups as much as possible but due to time restrains it will probably end up being a bunch of jumbled photos making their way online (but thats alright, hey? I'm trying!). ANYHOW, back on the road we go go go driving ahead with promotion (which I love because I get to share my music with all you lovely people and hopefully make some new friends!).

We drove out several hours to a few places across Taiwan to do some shows with Hit FM which consisted of me singing and then album signing. It was lovely getting a chance to meet some of you guys! You're all so sweet bearing with my and my (getting less crappy, FINALLY) chinese!

They were so nice! They gave us so much food! After hours of traveling this was definitely my idea of 'fuel food'.

Day 2:

So sweet!!

Literally don't think I can ever get used to seeing my face on a big poster. Its so.. weird? Lucky for me that I have a small head or the poster could look freakishly more freaky than it already does.

WOOOOO BODYGUARDS. I'm not gonna lie, I felt pretty badass.

.. ok so maybe they don't look too scary but I'm sure if trouble came the Taiwanese ninja moves would be whipped out (maybe they look deceiving for a reason..)

With the boyzzzzzz.

pardaaaay.

I also got dressed up and got to hang out with some ultra cool bloggers in Taiwan and talk dreams, ambitions and share stories... oh, and try some pretty amazing food too!

Messing around with Jess..

HER BOOK IS SO COOL!! She litterally went to Boracay for a month and wrote about her day to day life there.. and then published a book! Inside consists of loads of pretty photos and amazing drawings by her (the book is in chinese so until my chinese reading improves thats as detailed as my comments can go, haha). She literally has the cutest cartoons!

Another blogger took me to ... dun dun dun .. FOOD REPUBLIC! I explained how Singapore too has Food Republic and how I in fact thought that Food Republic was a Singaporean company.. and with that we all went over to TOAST BOX to have some Kaya Toast and some traditional Singapore food (along with food from about five other stalls..), yum yum yum!

Hmmmm what else what else.. I COOKED!

What happens when you have a hungry girl with little time on her hands..

Got nails done.. presenting my Taiwanese french manicure! Looks pretty bridal looking at it again..

Messed around with the ring light my manager Eric and his (newly wed!!!) wife got me!

I'm so cool its a joke.

I snacked like crazy.. (Ok, just realised the next thousand photos are pretty boring and just like food so if you really wanna see some food photos like the one below, hit up my instagram at www.instagram.com/mingbridges)

But I have to say, Taiwan has some pretty awesome snacks! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the street food SO MUCH. Why doesn't every country have countless rows of yummy food on offer, like, EVERYWHERE?

My go to dinner almost every night - I LOVE KOREAN FOOD!

5 Minute dinner before WREAK IT RALPH (which was amazing, by the way).

We also managed to go to this pretty special Hot Pot outside of Taipei. Look at the beautiful interior!

Yes, a bathroom shot is always needed.

So anyway, back to work. There were a lot of albums to sign. I have to say I'm getting the knack of the whole signing thing now (despite the whole 'your signature is so weird' voice that I can't seem to shake out the back of my head), although at times it gets a bit overwhelming.

I had quite a few radio and magazine interviews, one was in the really quirky cafe which housed these ultra cool mugs.

ANDDDDDDDD (I know, a lot gets done in a week) I got dolled up for a few fashion shoots! Here's photos from one of them (because my cousin is a doll and takes so many and I can't just leave them on my computer where no ones ever going to see them). THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS PEOPLE:

Transformed from beast to beauty!

I really want ombre hair. I guess these clip one will have to do for now (this is another shoot by the way.. I can't share the photos yet from the other although I really really really really want to!).

BELATED BIRTHDAY PRESENT!! I love my fans so much you guys are literally the greatest how are you so so sweet!! Thank you so much to Joanna for getting me such a cute personalized notebook (see the picture of us together? She came all the way to the airport just to see me off!) and THE CHOCOLATE AHHH WHICH I'VE ALREADY FINISHED AND I ONLY GOT GIVEN THIS HALF AN HOUR AGO (why am I so greedy!?).

Ok I think thats enough for this week - this has been a pretty long post! COMMENT! ASK QUESTIONS! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU WANNA SEE ON THE BLOG! I LOVE YOU ALL! FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER! LETS CHAT! I HOPE MY MUSIC IS MAKING YOU HAPPY!

And I'll now leave you with this..

Until next time..
Ming xx

  3. A right bathroom fan or bathroom vent is another fixture that is helpful to have steam free mirrors or damp walls. They come in various styles and sizes to suit one's bathroom and preferences.
